Key Responsibilities

• Effectively deliver the teaching and learning of Mathematics across the secondary school.
• Engage in the design, development, implementation, and review of the lower secondary, IGCSE, and IBDP Mathematics programmes.
• Liaise with curriculum leaders to ensure effective resource management and delivery of the curriculum within the classroom.
• Identify and support SEN students in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead on projects and work independently.
• Promote health and safety in assigned classes.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to regular staff training and meetings.
• Contribute to a range of trips, excursions, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
• Enhance the professional image of the teaching team.
• Foster positive relations between Mathematics and the wider community through various initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a subject-related degree and PGCE or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of excellence in teaching, with a minimum of three years’ experience, ideally in an international setting.
• Experience teaching IGCSE and IBDP Mathematics is preferred, though MYPS and/or A level experience is acceptable.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Pursue a passion for teaching and engaging students.
• Manage a diverse and demanding workload effectively.
• Inspire students in mixed culture and ability classes by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities.
• Support students’ learning and pastoral needs diligently.
• Maintain a clear criminal record.
