The Role

This position presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a school that values intellectual challenge, precision of thought, and excellence in communication. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role by:

• Teaching English across the IB Middle Years Programme
• Delivering IB Diploma English, depending on experience
• Creating rigorous, well-structured lessons in alignment with IB philosophy and assessment
• Developing pupils’ analytical writing, reading comprehension, and oracy skills
• Contributing to curriculum planning, assessment design, and moderation
• Supporting literacy development across the school
• Engaging fully in pastoral life and the wider co-curricular programme

The Candidate

We seek a colleague with the following qualifications:

• Experience teaching English within the IB MYP and ideally the IBDP
• Understanding of IB assessment criteria and curriculum design
• Academic rigor and strong organizational skills
• High expectations that secure strong academic outcomes
• Clear and professional communication with parents and colleagues
• Ability to thrive in an international environment
• Willingness to contribute to a growing and ambitious school

IB experience and international school experience are advantageous.
