Your Role and Responsibilities

• Support the Supply Chain Department in the selection, evaluation, and qualification of suppliers.
• Supervise Supplier Qualification, focusing on relevant quality aspects.
• Act as the primary interface for Engineering, Operations, and Procurement on all supplier quality matters.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Lead investigations into Supplier Non-Conformance and product/process requirement violations.
• Perform supplier audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with strategic suppliers to enhance performance and implement quality controls.
• Analyze supplier capabilities and maintain quality metrics.

Main Tasks

• Execute the Supplier Quality Assurance Program aligned with Project Milestones.
• Support the conversion of Customer Critical to Quality Requirements into supplier specifications.
• Lead or support Non-Conformance Management processes at suppliers.
• Conduct Supplier Critical Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and related investigations.
• Moderate Supplier Process FMEA sessions.
• Facilitate Process and Product Qualification at suppliers with close collaboration with M&P and Design Engineering.
• Lead Supplier Audit initiatives.
• Represent Supplier Quality Assurance in Customer and Internal Audits.
• Engage with suppliers to address concerns and foster continual improvement of relationships.
• Contribute to quality matters in proposals during Requests for Information/Quotations.
• Assist in the development of the Quality Organization through training and coaching.

Your Background

• Relevant experience in Quality and Continuous Improvement fields.
• BSc/MSc degree in Engineering or a similar discipline is preferred.
• Familiarity with standards like EN9100, ECSS, NASA, and MIL.
• Experience in manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
• Adept at analyzing technical products/systems and their functionality.
• Strong theoretical knowledge complemented by practical coaching ability.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Familiar with Quality preventive methodologies (5Why, Ishikawa Fishbone).
• Knowledge of additional languages (German, French, Swedish) is a plus.
• Prior experience in space companies will be advantageous.
