Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a workplace that meets all Safety, Health, and Environmental rules, regulations, and requirements for all employees.
- Guarantee quality of workmanship in accordance with all applicable SRT and airworthiness regulations.
- Optimize staff allocation to events and maintain a high production grade.
- Instruct staff regarding quality deviations, verbal reviews, occurrences, audit findings, and customer complaints, taking necessary action when required.
- Assign employees to their jobs and manage vacation planning in accordance with engine planning while monitoring labor efficiency.
- Organize support across departments to assure performance, tools, equipment, and work documentation.
- Manage human resources to ensure skills availability to meet demand.
- Focus on training and development needs for employees and department.
- Execute and promote Continuous Improvements by applying Lean principles to achieve organizational targets.
- Manage and improve related processes to achieve key performance indicators (KPI).
- Drive a performance culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow-ups with all employees.
- Apply the performance management process (PMP) and provide leadership with a focus on employee motivation.
Qualifications
- Technical apprenticeship of 4 years.
- Technical education background.
- Operational and managerial experience in the aviation industry.
- Proven ability to manage allocated manpower and resources effectively.
- Ability to communicate issues to management with suggested solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures at the required level.
- Good command of verbal and written English (level C1).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Positive attitude and solutions-oriented approach.
- High degree of customer focus, both internal and external.
- Good communication and team-oriented skills with managerial abilities.
- Proven ability to work under pressure.
- Readiness for two-shift work.
