About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to contribute to our operations at Zurich-Airport. You will play a crucial role as a leader on the shop floor, developing and managing a highly effective team. Your focus will be on safety, quality, and meeting delivery and cost expectations while coordinating with stakeholders at SR Technics to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a positive Safety Culture and implement the Safety and Quality Policy throughout the organization.
- Lead and manage a multi-cultural team, fostering engagement and a positive work environment.
- Drive performance culture through target setting and regular structured follow-ups with team members.
- Plan and allocate resources to enhance productivity and monitor labor efficiency.
- Oversee personnel development and skill management to align with capacity requirements.
- Implement Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean principles and 5S methodologies.
- Participate in and prepare for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and excellence.
Your Profile
- Technical background or education in a related field, with aviation experience preferred.
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to engage and develop teams; minimum of 3 years in team leadership or strong project leadership is preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, particularly in fast-paced environments, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Proactive, independent working style with a strong drive for performance.
- Knowledge and experience in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in English (B2+) is essential; knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Experience with maintenance documentation systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, while SAP knowledge is a plus.
