The Business Unit Parts and Field Service operates as a global organisation with harmonised processes and tools designed to provide optimal services for our customers. Your Role and Responsibilities
In the role of Software Systems Architect, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting customer agreements by providing necessary information to both internal and external customers.
- Maintaining relationships with cooperation partners.
- Implementing product improvements for non-portfolio products.
- Conducting site visits for in-depth product, system, and performance analyses.
- Reviewing findings within the expert's poll.
- Preparing instructions and conducting necessary measurements and analyses on engines in operation, as well as during shop tests or sea trials.
- Implementing sensor integrations, designing control systems, and engaging in product development using NI LabVIEW and NI hardware.
- Conducting model-based design for Marine Diesel and Gas Engine Control Applications.
- Extracting requirements from customer concept documents and drawings.
- Developing functionalities for LNG Injection, exploring multiple gasification concepts.
Qualifications and Experience
The following qualifications will support your success in this role:
- BSc or higher degree in Electrical or Marine Engineering.
- Proven expertise in Model-in-Loop (MIL) simulation and Hardware-in-Loop (HIL) simulation; please specify your proficiency with these tools in your application.
- Proficiency in creating Unitool packages.
- Strong knowledge of Simulink, LabVIEW, and MATLAB; please detail your expert level in your application.
- Excellent technical communication skills, particularly in report writing.
- Strong self-organization skills to effectively manage internal and external activities.
- Willingness to travel and work abroad on short assignments; please indicate this in your CV.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role and environment.
- Proficient English language skills.
