Our innovative projects, such as Future Cities Lab Global and Future Health Technologies, create an intellectual hub for interdisciplinary research and collaboration.

Project Overview

We are embarking on an impactful project under the FHT2 programme, bringing together a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, neuroscientists, engineers, and clinicians. This initiative focuses on developing a next-generation AI-powered mobile platform aimed at assessing and supporting cognitive health in real-world navigation scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a cross-platform mobile and web application for cognitive health monitoring.
• Collaborate with researchers, designers, and clinicians to translate concepts into scalable software systems.
• Develop and maintain applications for iOS (using Swift) and Android (using Kotlin), and contribute to web application development (using ReactJS).
• Integrate APIs and manage data pipelines while ensuring seamless communication between frontend and backend.
• Optimize app performance and ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with best practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and development processes for maintainable software solutions.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Strong programming skills and hands-on experience in modern software development are essential, particularly in the following:

• ReactJS for web frontend development
• NodeJS for backend development and API design
• Swift for iOS application development
• Kotlin for Android application development

Experience in full-stack development, RESTful APIs, cloud services, and database systems is expected. Familiarity with UI/UX design for mobile applications is advantageous, along with exposure to AI integrations, handling real-time data, and working with sensor data.

Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills in English, and a collaborative mindset are crucial. A passion for creating impactful applications in healthcare and AI-driven solutions will be highly regarded.
