Your Role and Responsibilities

Become a vital part of our dynamic team in Switzerland (Baden). Your main responsibility will be to provide professional and reliable outage and inspection management for our Service Business, utilizing your extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for our GT26 gas turbines. Key tasks will include:

  • Managing international field teams on power plant outages across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety policies.
  • Exercising dedicated project control on-site concerning quality, time, and cost.
  • Representing the company towards clients, partners, subcontractors, and local authorities.
  • Organizing and implementing site kick-off meetings and coordinating daily feedback meetings with all involved on-site.
  • Collaborating closely with various departments, local organizations, field staff, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Setting tasks and priorities for the site team, including deadlines.
  • Ensuring the provision of local resources and materials for both planned and unplanned work.
  • Facilitating effective feedback transfer to the home office.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • At least three years of experience managing construction or commissioning sites, preferably related to gas turbine maintenance.
  • Strong leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented with effective negotiation and communication abilities.
  • A motivational, reliable, and goal-oriented team player capable of proactively managing conflicts.
  • A qualified education and a relevant professional background in the heavy rotating machinery business.
  • Flexibility to work under pressure and willingness to travel globally.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adept at deadline-driven working methods, planning, negotiation, and presentation skills.
