Your Role

The successful candidate will assume a crucial role in ensuring professional management of outage and inspection sites, leveraging extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for GT26 gas turbines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage international field teams during power plant outages across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Ansaldo Energia's environmental, health, and safety policies.
  • Maintain dedicated project control on-site concerning quality, timing, and costs.
  • Act as a representative of Ansaldo Energia with clients, partners, subcontractors, and local authorities.
  • Organize and implement site kick-off meetings, as well as daily coordination and feedback meetings with all on-site parties.
  • Collaborate closely with various Ansaldo Energia departments, local organizations, field staff, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Set tasks, priorities, and deadlines for the site team.
  • Ensure the availability of local resources and materials for both planned and unplanned work.
  • Facilitate the transfer of feedback to the home office.

Your Profile

  • Minimum of three years' experience in managing construction or commissioning sites, preferably related to gas turbine maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented with proficient negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Motivating, reliable, and goal-oriented team player with a proactive approach to conflict management.
  • Qualified education and a professional background relevant to heavy rotating machinery.
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure, with a willingness to travel globally.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Deadline-driven work style complemented by professional planning and presentation skills.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
