As a member of the Biology and Translational Science team in Early Drug Discovery, you will have a vital role in pushing the boundaries of science and contributing to significant breakthroughs.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute in vitro and ex vivo studies to support target discovery, development, and project progression.
• Develop, implement, and conduct various cell-based and biochemical assays, including HTRF, MSD, ELISA, and flow cytometry-based assays.
• Maintain cell lines associated with ongoing projects and perform advanced laboratory protocols, particularly in tissue processing and RNA isolation.
• Analyze, interpret, summarize, and communicate scientific data to project teams effectively.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of screening data while collaborating closely with other teams to meet project needs.
• Identify and develop new methods to advance target discovery and development.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in cell biology, molecular biology, immunology, or related fields.
• 6 years of relevant industry laboratory experience after BS or 4 years after MS.
• Proficiency in techniques such as cell-based assays, maintaining cell lines, handling tissue samples from pre-clinical models, and working with primary cells.
• Experience with HTRF, MSD, ELISA, flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques is preferred.
• Competence in data analysis software like GraphPad Prism and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with disease areas such as metabolic syndrome, autoimmunity, allergy, or hematology.
• Expert knowledge in molecular biology, flow cytometry, or energy expenditure assays.
• Experience working with human primary cells and organoid models.

Compensation

The annual compensation for this position ranges from $110,000 to $120,000.
