Role Overview

This position entails overseeing a diverse range of Spine product brands, technologies, and services. The primary focus will be on the formulation and execution of long-term product and service strategies, along with annual marketing plans. This role also includes delivering exceptional clinical and commercial support to our sales teams and clients in the specified product segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the assigned product, technology, and service segment, ensuring the achievement of business objectives.
  • Serve as the product owner and expert for the assigned offerings in Switzerland.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis and evaluate product performance to manage the product life cycle effectively.
  • Enhance profitability through strategic product mix management.
  • Identify industry trends and competitive information to inform business decisions.
  • Implement a comprehensive understanding of competitors’ products and strategies within the local market.
  • Explore new business prospects for the designated product and service segment.
  • Develop and execute strategies for product launch and marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare annual marketing plans aligned with business goals.
  • Support sales teams with product introductions through engaging presentations and clinical training.
  • Cultivate networks with key clinical opinion leaders and stakeholders to identify and leverage business opportunities.
  • Coordinate and aid in marketing events, congress appearances, and professional education activities.
  • Collaborate with national and international teams, ensuring alignment and successful implementation of marketing strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technical field.
  • Over 5 years of sales and/or marketing experience in the medical devices sector.
  • Experience in the Spine or Enabling Technology sector is preferred.
  • Background in Orthopaedics or involvement in a global/regional marketing team is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English and German is required; proficiency in French or Italian is a plus.
  • Located in Zuchwil and Zug, Switzerland; availability for travel up to 25% is required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • A collaborative team player capable of navigating matrix environments.
  • Exceptional trust-building and communication skills, plus the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
  • Analytical capabilities with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
