Role Overview
As a pivotal member of the Group Marketing team, you will collaborate with various business units within SMG Swiss Marketplace Group. Your role will be integral to enhancing our performance marketing strategies and contribute to our ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and continual optimization of Search Engine Advertising (SEA) initiatives across multiple SMG brands, ensuring sustainable growth.
- Serve as the expert on Google Ads best practices while also supporting other performance marketing channels like Paid Social, Programmatic, and Display as needed.
- Act as a strategic consultant to Business Units, offering tailored advice on best practices for performance marketing, including conversion strategy and growth opportunities.
- Manage operational workflows across Business Units, coordinating requests, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely delivery with clear timelines.
- Utilize a data-driven approach to enhance performance by developing robust testing frameworks to identify optimization opportunities and new growth levers.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements across teams to optimize workflows and ways of working.
Qualifications
- Native German speaker, with fluency in English.
- Over 9 years of experience in digital performance marketing, particularly in managing and scaling Google Ads campaigns within complex, multi-brand environments.
- A demonstrated ability to connect technical (data/analytics) and marketing teams, translating business needs into actionable implementations.
- Hands-on experience with Google Marketing Platform tools including SA360, DV360, and CM360.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with practical knowledge of GA4, Looker Studio, Google Sheets, and Google Tag Manager.
- Experience in feed management and Google Shopping, using product data as a performance driver.
- Proven operational and project management capabilities, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive problem-solver with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
