Your Role and Responsibilities
In this key position, you will lead a small operations/back-office team while actively engaging in daily operational activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and ensuring the accurate settlement and booking of transactions related to securities, cash, and digital assets, including trades, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Performing daily reconciliations of positions and transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Processing corporate actions and crypto actions, such as staking.
- Managing the security master file and relationships with correspondent banks and brokers.
- Inputting and verifying transactions in line with the four eyes principle and adhering to compliance regulations.
- Overseeing proper accounting and bookkeeping within middleware and core banking systems, collaborating with finance and risk teams.
- Supporting client and compliance teams with the management of the client master file.
- Configuring and ensuring appropriate fee bookings.
- Producing various regulatory, tax, and management reports.
- Collaborating closely with the IT team to enhance platform functionality and resolve bugs, while supporting team administration and special projects.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Master’s degree in business administration, economics, banking, or accounting.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in back-office operations within regulated financial institutions or fintech, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in back-office operations for banks and/or securities broker-dealers.
- A strong understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology coupled with a keen interest in the sector.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to task management and team collaboration.
- Strong client orientation and excellent interpersonal abilities.
- An autonomous, detail-oriented, curious, and results-driven mindset.
- Fluency in English.
