Overview

Our Actuarial team delivers a comprehensive range of actuarial support across various sectors, including life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. We collaborate with other teams in Audit & Assurance and across other services such as Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory, or Technology & Transformation on large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for pension topics for Deloitte Switzerland.
• Lead various client projects, including M&A transactions, audits for pension funds, and valuations.
• Manage project lifecycles from proposals and contracting through delivery and invoicing.
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities and generating new business with both internal and external clients.
• Participate in and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and promotions.

Qualifications

• A University degree (ETH or University) in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a similar quantitative field.
• Qualified actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent.
• Experience in an actuarial position within the Insurance industry or in Consulting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a genuine desire to learn and contribute positively, while enjoying collaboration with diverse professionals.
• Fluent in both German and English, capable of engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
• Demonstrated experience in business development.
