Based in Zurich, this opportunity offers a work pattern ranging from 80% to 100%.

Engagement and Responsibilities

Join our Actuarial team, which provides comprehensive support across life, non-life, health insurance, reinsurance, and pension funds. Collaborating with other professionals in Audit & Assurance and various advisory services, you will play a pivotal role in managing global challenges through impactful engagements.

Impact and Development

• Lead and mentor the actuarial team specializing in life insurance.
• Drive business development initiatives within life and health insurance.
• Collaborate with other actuaries or multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable project outcomes.

Project Management

• Directly oversee diverse client projects, including actuarial transformation, mergers and acquisitions, audits, and valuations.
• Manage the complete project lifecycle: from proposals and contracting to delivery and invoicing.
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to generating new business with clients.
• Participate in thought leadership and enhance the employee experience through training and performance management.

Qualifications

• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Qualified actuary “Actuary SAA” or equivalent certification.
• Experience in an actuarial role, preferably within the consulting landscape in Switzerland.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, complemented by a genuine eagerness to learn and collaborate.
• Fluent in German and English, with Swiss German preferred for stakeholder interaction.
• Proven experience in business development and a familiarity with technology and actuarial modelling tools.
