Strategic Leadership Role in Manufacturing
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on leader to drive our global manufacturing initiative. This position offers the opportunity to architect the future production landscape by building state-of-the-art, automated factories centered around innovative technology.
Your Mission
- Take complete ownership of new factory builds, guiding them from initial site selection and design to fully stabilized, high-volume production.
- Lead the strategic nearshoring initiative, establishing advanced manufacturing hubs to bring cutting-edge technology to key global markets.
- Translate master engineering blueprints and overarching business goals into precise technical specifications for each site.
- Develop and manage project key variables—timelines, budgets, and resource plans—to ensure timely and on-scope delivery.
- Act as the central point for collaboration, aligning cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, and local partners on critical technical and infrastructure requirements.
- Be the technical leader during construction and commissioning, proactively identifying and resolving engineering and logistical challenges.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers and stakeholders for consistent business alignment and timely delivery of production capabilities.
- Uphold the legacy of excellence by ensuring every new facility meets high standards for quality, sustainability, and operational performance.
Your Story
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering fields, with a background in Business Administration as a plus.
- A distinguished track record in a senior engineering or manufacturing role, with extensive experience in bringing new manufacturing sites to fruition.
- Exceptional project management skills demonstrated through successful completion of large-scale, international capital projects; PMP certification is a strong advantage.
- A continuous improvement mindset, proficient in Lean methodologies such as Six Sigma and Kaizen to enhance efficiency and operational success.
- Expert-level problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to overcoming obstacles and ensuring project success.
- A strategic vision with the ability to navigate both long-term goals and immediate project needs effectively.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to inspire and align diverse teams across cultures and time zones.
- Direct experience with technologies related to automation, robotics, and plastics manufacturing is ideal.
- Fluency in English for effective global collaboration.
- A passion for international work and the readiness to travel extensively to project sites worldwide.
