Role Overview
The Global Head of Compliance is seeking dedicated support in the development and management of a comprehensive compliance program. The focus is on ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and fostering an ethical organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Improvement:
- Assessing the effectiveness of the compliance program.
- Developing and implementing enhancements to the program, including benchmarking against industry standards.
- Leading change projects to ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Anti Bribery Management System (ABMS):
- Overseeing the design and implementation of the ABMS.
- Providing guidance on the ABMS.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 37001 Standards.
- Collaborating with functions like Procurement, Human Resources, and Internal Audit.
- Reporting on ABMS performance.
- Monitoring and auditing the ABMS effectiveness.
- Developing and delivering training programs.
- Reviewing and revising the ABMS for continuous enhancement.
- Training Management:
- Designing and maintaining an organizational training plan that addresses risk areas.
- Identifying training audiences and ensuring materials are appropriate.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of training programs.
- Control Monitoring and Improvements:
- Monitoring and auditing compliance program components, collaborating with Internal Audit.
- Developing corrective action plans with operational leaders.
- Projects:
- Working with the Trafigura Compliance Team to ensure effective oversight communications.
- Leading various compliance-related projects as needed.
Requirements
- Education:
- A degree in Law or Finance is required.
- Compliance certification such as CCEP or CCEP-I is advantageous.
- Experience:
- Over 10 years of relevant work experience.
- International experience is preferred.
- Experience in producing reports and delivering briefings to regulatory agencies.
- Knowledge:
- Knowledge of compliance in the energy sector is highly desirable.
- Extensive understanding of the FCPA and UKBA.
- Experience in data privacy program implementation is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong personal ethics and integrity.
- A capacity to articulate business and legal cases for compliance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of corporate compliance aspects, including anti-bribery and corruption.
- Proficient in facilitating discussions and providing effective training.
- Able to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Capable of working independently as well as within a team.
- Robust project management skills and experience.
