SAP PM/EAM Data Migration Consultant

Role Overview

Join a global end client on an S/4 HANA implementation project as a remote-based consultant. This role involves a six-month initial contract with the possibility of extension, starting in November 2026. The position is primarily remote, with monthly travel to Germany required.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Deployment Functional team to understand the S/4 HANA solution and prepare data deliverables.
• Own local business data content and related master data objects.
• Join or complete data migration-related workshops and trainings.
• Perform or ensure that data cleansing tasks are completed on time.
• Complete data collection for manual and construction objects within deadlines.
• Confirm value mapping performed by local Functional Data Owners.
• Create and maintain master lists for assigned objects where applicable.
• Provide business insights and information to technical teams for extraction and conversion from legacy systems for assigned data objects.

Requirements

• Strong functional knowledge of Equipment Master (PM, EAM) within the deploying location.
• Minimum of five years of working experience in SAP, ideally S/4, within the pharmaceutical industry.
• At least three years of experience, or full-cycle SAP global rollouts, in managing data migration projects.
• Expert knowledge of several SAP modules (preferably S/4) and related business processes, including finance/controlling, logistics, production/quality management, and sales/distribution, along with their related data objects.
• Good understanding of the MDG solution.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager and the Focus Build Requirement to Deploy process.
• Knowledge of GxP and CSV.
• Preferably experience with ETL tools, such as SAP DS.
