Opportunity Overview
Hitachi Energy is seeking to connect business needs with technology through a proficient SAP Business Analyst. This role involves comprehensive analysis of requirements, defining project scope, and translating complex business processes into SAP module specifications whilst recommending enhancements aimed at boosting efficiency and performance. As a subject matter expert, your contributions will shape operational plans, influence leadership decisions, and lead the development of innovative processes and standards that deliver significant impact. Strong communication skills and the capability to align stakeholders with strategic objectives are crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish governance and organizational frameworks to ensure clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and decision-making in alignment with global strategies.
- Provide strategic oversight for global programs to ensure compliance with standardized processes and full adoption of core systems.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, synthesizing insights from stakeholders to align with overarching business goals.
- Manage business unit demand funnel directed toward SAP Center of Excellence in accordance with business archetype.
- Lead efforts in process harmonization and continuous improvement, minimizing template deviations while promoting best practices across regions.
- Monitor business process performance utilizing key metrics and data analysis, benchmarking against industry standards.
- Drive data governance and management, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security across hubs and systems.
- Assess training needs and deliver resources and sessions to enhance team competencies and overall performance.
- Champion change management initiatives to promote global process adoption, reduce local customizations, and secure stakeholder support.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with system implementations and process changes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and develop global teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth through coaching and performance management.
- Collaborate on budget and demand planning, sharing best practices, and maintaining regular communication with business unit management.
Qualifications
- Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, operations management, or related roles, with a validated history of leading cross-functional teams and managing global projects.
- Strong leadership and change management capabilities, with the ability to influence and motivate global teams and stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing, sales, logistics, and service processes, along with process improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, adept at conveying complex concepts and securing buy-in at all organizational levels.
- Analytical mindset with the proficiency to leverage data for performance monitoring, decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives.
