Tethys Robotics is at the forefront of developing innovative underwater robotic solutions for inspection missions in challenging environments. Our clientele ranges from major asset operators to industrial service providers in high-demand sectors such as offshore wind, oil and gas, maritime security, ammunition detection, and search & rescue. Your Role

As a Sales Representative, you will work closely with executive management, internal teams, and external partners to implement our underwater robotic solutions into customer operations. The focus will be on identifying, acquiring, and establishing long-term relationships with clients primarily in the offshore market. This role entails a hands-on approach to representing Tethys Robotics at international conferences, demonstrations, and customer visits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively acquire new customers in the international offshore market and close sales deals.
  • Develop market- and customer-specific sales strategies, considering reseller and distributor opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful deal closures.
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers while providing the team with valuable industry insights.
  • Represent technologically complex products during targeted customer visits, online meetings, and international trade shows.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and executive management to develop customized proposals.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience with technologically sophisticated products, preferably in the offshore energy or maritime industries.
  • Strong market knowledge and practical experience with offshore campaigns.
  • Demonstrated success in offshore sales, supported by a robust professional network.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a convincing personality and a talent for building rapport.
  • Technical understanding and affinity for complex systems, ideally in robotics or sensor technology.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally, primarily within the EMEA region.
  • Proficient in managing sales funnels methodically, preferably using HubSpot.
  • A technical background in engineering is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment, with a passion for outdoor challenges.
  • Fluent in professional English; additional languages are a strong advantage.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Desirable Skills

  • Sales experience in robotics.
  • Commercial diver's license.
  • Offshore certification (GWO / BOSIET or equivalent).
