Responsibilities
- Your areas of responsibility will cover robotics and associated processes, including support processes thereof.
- Define standardized repair processes ensuring these meet applicable quality and compliance standards of OEM, customers, internal processes, and state-of-the-art technologies.
- Interpret production drawings and OEM procedures systematically, understanding the need for processes to meet established requirements.
- Define and certify equivalent alternative consumable materials and/or processes related to thermal spray.
- Conduct continuous improvement of processes under your responsibility using Safety, Lean, Quality, and Engineering tools (e.g., Kaizen Events, SPC, FPY, OEE) resulting in improved SQDCP for our customers.
- Provide coaching and training to operations colleagues as needed, ensuring best-in-class programming and process principles.
- Support root cause analysis and coordinate subsequent engineering-related tasks for assigned fields.
- Provide support for industrialization projects according to plan (SQDCP) and define mitigations when necessary, supporting the industrialization of new repairs and the renewal of existing repairs.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Repair Engineering, Tooling Engineering, and/or Shop Engineering.
Your Profile
- Hands-on experience operating and developing robotics programs and using offline technologies in supporting (Plasma Spray, Arc-Wire Spraying, HVOF Spraying, Shot Peening, and 3D Scanning Technologies).
- Proven experience creating programs on 6-axis robot equipment and offline simulation tools (ABB, Kuka, FANUC, etc.).
- Experience in Industrial Manufacturing and Aerospace MRO business.
- Proactive, positive, and flexible character with a strong execution mentality and the ability to work autonomously and within teams on complex tasks.
- High safety, quality, delivery, and cost awareness.
- Experience in project management, lean and quality methodologies.
- 3-5+ years experience in programming.
- Fluent in English (Level C1); German (Level B1) is an advantage.
- Scientific/Technical degree (MSc or BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in similar industries.
