Your Role

The Relationship Manager in our Private Banking division serves as the primary contact between clients and the Bank, embodying the role of an ambassador. You will be responsible for the proactive and autonomous management of a portfolio of Ultra High Net Worth clients, delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions tailored to their needs.

Your Challenge

  • Proactively develop and maintain a self-acquired portfolio of UHNWI clients, specifically targeting the UK International Market.
  • Create and nurture trust-based relationships with clients through regular and personalized communication.
  • Respond to client inquiries and needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assess and understand the financial situations and overall objectives of clients.
  • Deliver general wealth management services, formulating integrated solutions based on clients’ goals.
  • Manage client assets in accordance with investment guidelines, in coordination with Advisory Solutions and Investment Management teams.
  • Closely monitor financial market developments and adapt investment strategies as needed.
  • Introduce and promote the Bank’s products and services, providing tailored investment solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory procedures.

Your Profile

  • Proven track record in acquiring new UHNWI relationships through an established network in the UK International market.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience advising sophisticated UK-based clients and managing significant portfolios in Private Banking.
  • Strong investment advisory competence and knowledge of local equities, bonds, and derivative instruments; portfolio management experience is beneficial.
  • Comprehensive understanding of global financial markets, economics, and current affairs.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and seizing new business opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the UK market, including its legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, alongside effective negotiation abilities.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience living and working in the UK is an advantage, but established relationships in the UK market are essential.
  • Adept at working independently, taking initiative, and thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically under pressure.
  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills.
  • Open and approachable with a collaborative mindset.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
  • Persistent and persuasive in achieving objectives.
  • Willing and flexible to travel as needed.
  • Relevant higher education and professional background, such as a Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent qualifications.
