Your Responsibilities
- Provide warm, professional service by anticipating guest needs and using personal touches.
- Coordinate concierge services; report arranged services in the Hotel Manager’s Cruise Report.
- Manage guest requests or complaints, escalating to the Hotel Manager as necessary.
- Oversee Front Office operations, including guest/crew check-in/out, billing, cashier duties, currency exchange, questionnaires, records, and excursion bookings.
- Responsible for onboard money management, including safe, daily cashier operations, deposits, and compliance with GRC rules.
- Handle cruise and monthly closings including invoices, credit card settlements, and financial reports.
- Control delivery notes for all onboard supplies.
- Manage IT and payment equipment responsibly; report technical issues promptly.
Specific Requirements
- Supervise, train, and evaluate Front Office employees; ensure efficient workflows and compliance with working hour regulations.
- Act as the Hotel Manager during absences or holiday rotations; issue professional directives to officers/crew as needed.
- Assist the Hotel Manager in maintaining GRC administrative and hospitality standards.
- Ensure impeccable cleanliness at the Front Desk and other hospitality areas.
- Participate in daily briefings, end/start-of-season preparation, and supply loading.
- Comply with working hours regulations and attend training as well as safety drills.
- Exhibit excellent computer and IT skills.
- Participate actively in assigned learning activities, training sessions, and mandatory safety or emergency drills.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in spoken and written English; proficiency in additional languages such as German, French, Portuguese, or Italian is a plus.
