Postdoctoral Fellow in muon physics

Your Tasks

• Measurements of muonic X-rays from low-Z elements within the QUARTET collaboration.
• Operation and further development of a metallic magnetic calorimeter (MMC) onsite at PSI.
• Studies for the use of the MMC across various fields ranging from elemental analysis to radiochemistry.

Your Profile

• Completed PhD degree in physics or a closely related field.
• Experience with particle physics experiments at large facilities is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English.
