Portfolio Manager

Principal Responsibilities

Propose investment opportunities to the Senior Portfolio Manager.
Independently manage Global TMT-focused investment portfolios.
Serve as the lead analyst on Global Telecoms, Global Media, and US Internet.
Interface with sell-side research, industry participants, and company representatives to screen investment ideas and facilitate information flow.
Review and analyze research materials on companies, sectors, and economic trends.
Conduct industry and sector analysis.
Monitor markets effectively.
Gather market data and create screens to track and analyze stock trends.
Identify, evaluate, and implement timely market opportunities and trading strategies to optimize P&L.

Bachelor's Degree or higher in an analytical field, such as Accounting or Finance.
Essential experience in a global buy-side investment firm.
Proven track record in managing equity long/short strategies within a market-neutral framework.
Extensive experience in trading Global TMT equities is required.
Advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis are essential.
Familiarity with advanced Bloomberg functionalities preferred.
CFA qualification is preferred.
Essential buy-side experience in managing investment portfolios.
Experience in building and managing risk analysis tools for portfolio optimization is crucial.
Quick learner with a detail-oriented approach, demonstrating thoroughness and strong ownership of work.
Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and dynamic environment.
Possess a high sense of urgency and strong communication skills.
