Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and supervise all pastry, bakery, and dessert items according to our standards and HACCP hygiene procedures.
- Ensure excellent product quality, presentation, and consistency in taste, texture, and temperature.
- Organize daily work efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and order in the pastry area.
- Supervise and train assigned pastry staff, ensuring smooth and timely service.
- Manage inventory, storage, and stock control, ensuring FIFO, proper labelling, and temperature checks.
- Minimize waste and report any issues or equipment defects to the Executive Chef.
- Support our “Up Serve” guest experience philosophy.
Specific Requirements
- Proven pastry experience in 4- or 5-star hotels and/or cruise ships.
- Education from an accredited Pastry Culinary School.
- Strong knowledge of modern pastry trends and techniques.
- Excellent eye for elegant presentation and detail.
- Active participation in assigned learning activities, training sessions, and mandatory safety or emergency drills.
- Strong proficiency in English.
