Your Role

• Sourcing & Supplier Management: Oversee end-to-end supplier management, fostering ongoing relationships from initial contact to final contract.
• Portfolio & Delivery Oversight: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of carbon removal credits while addressing supplier-related issues to optimize portfolio strategy.
• Forecasting & Matching: Maintain transparency on supply inventory and demand forecasts, aligning them to dynamic customer needs and portfolio strategy.
• Margin & Risk Management: Execute accurate margin calculations, implement safeguards, and assess key business risks to inform decision-making.
• Financial & Tech Integration: Collaborate with finance on planning/reporting and define sourcing process needs for software integration efforts.
• Strategic Projects: Drive cross-functional initiatives focusing on nature-based solutions and operational improvements, while innovating new business models.
• Market Intelligence: Establish a systematic market and competitive intelligence process to generate strategic insights for sourcing and commercial go-to-market efforts.

Your Background

• Education & Experience: A university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics) with 2-4 years in fast-paced analytical roles.
• Deal Sourcing: Experience in deal sourcing, with an understanding of partnership development and voluntary carbon markets (VCM).
• Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Strong strategic mindset with exceptional analytical skills; coding and project finance knowledge is advantageous.
• Project & Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in project management and managing senior stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy and diligence in managing data and financial processes.
• Team Player: Effective collaborator with strong communication skills in English, contributing to the growth of partnerships and networks.

Formal Details

This position is based in Opfikon, Zurich, with a requirement to be on-site at least three days per week.
