We are seeking a skilled professional to support our team within a prestigious academic environment, focusing on the historical analysis of global interdependencies since the 18th century. This role will be vital in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office, enhancing our ability to explore (post)colonial transnational relationships and the impact on Europe, North America, and the Global South.
Key Responsibilities
- Support administrative and organizational matters to facilitate seamless office operations.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Finance & Controlling and Human Resources, along with external partners.
- Manage the content and updates for the group website.
- Oversee funds and budgets, coordinate invoices and expense reports, and report on project progress.
Your Profile
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in both German and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with research grant management and related financial processes.
- Passionate about supporting staff in an international, research-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to high service quality, with experience in planning and organizing workshops and events.
- Exemplary work ethic characterized by precision and reliability.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
