In this unique opportunity, you will be reshaping pharmaceutical marketing in one of the most dynamic markets, with a genuine focus on consumers and significant strategic responsibilities.
Your Role
As the lead in specialty care for obesity, you will drive the marketing strategy for the obesity portfolio across Switzerland, engaging specialist healthcare professionals and transforming the treatment landscape for obesity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute specialist-focused marketing strategies for the obesity portfolio, driving adoption among priority specialist segments across Switzerland.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, prescriber behaviour, and competitive dynamics in the obesity landscape, translating insights into actionable campaign improvements and field activities.
- Oversee product launches and specialist-targeted advertising campaigns, ensuring strong execution and alignment with Swiss market dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical, Sales, and Market Access to implement product and brand updates, ensuring seamless execution.
- Prepare forecasts and budgets to optimise sales performance across specialist segments and regions in Switzerland.
- Develop and implement multichannel marketing strategies, leveraging content analytics to shape channel and content decisions across specialist-facing touchpoints.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute participation in key national and international congresses, ensuring strong brand presence and alignment with overall brand objectives.
Your Team
As part of the Cardiometabolic Marketing team within the Swiss affiliate, you will connect innovative treatments with healthcare professionals and patients. This team is dedicated to transforming the treatment landscape for obesity and related metabolic conditions.
Qualifications
We seek a strategic marketer with deep expertise in pharmaceutical marketing and a passion for making a difference in obesity care, a consumer-driven market.
- A university degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Several years of experience in brand marketing within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry; experience in OTC or FMCG industry is a plus.
- Experience developing and executing multichannel marketing strategies, with capabilities in content planning, analytics, and digital marketing.
- Proven ability to analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and drive data-driven marketing decisions.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering across Sales, Medical, and Market Access teams.
- Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).
