Your Mission

The role encompasses being the technical backbone of electromechanical products, driving the development of robust, compliant, and economical technical solutions, with a specialization in PCB design.

• Technical Authority: Assume full technical responsibility for electromechanical products throughout the development cycle and during mass production.
• PCB Design: Create multilayer PCBs by optimizing performance (impedance, signal isolation, RF) while adhering to mechanical and electrical constraints.
• Technical Solutions Development: Based on customer specifications, develop robust and economically viable technical solutions that meet electrical, thermal, and RF performance requirements.
• Requirements Management: Verify and manage customer requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications and maintaining verification control documents (VCD).
• Technical Documentation: Draft comprehensive technical documentation, including design descriptions, user manuals, test specifications, and manufacturing procedures.
• RF Simulations and Testing Management: Conduct RF and EMI/EMC simulations to ensure signal integrity and perform validation testing (measuring RF parameters: IL/RL).
• Technical Support and R&D: Contribute to defining the R&D roadmap for strategic electronic developments and provide technical support to sales and marketing teams.
• External Relationship Management: Interface with customers and suppliers on product technical aspects, managing discussions related to requirements, non-conformities, and waiver requests.
• Experience Capitalization: Integrate feedback into the continual improvement of products and processes.

Your Story

• Education: Degree in electronics, mechatronics, or control systems (EPF, HES, Master or equivalent).
• Professional Experience: 5 to 7 years in PCB design using Altium Designer and interdisciplinary engineering in demanding applications such as aerospace, scientific instruments, military, etc.
• Proficient in RF Simulation Tools: Familiarity with Ansys HFSS, ADS and RF measuring instruments (spectrum analyzers, IL/RL).
• Electromechanical Design Knowledge: Understanding of electromechanical system design and thermal management.
• Experience with National Instruments Hardware: Proficient in utilizing LabView.
• PCB Design Expertise: Skilled in PCB design with Altium Designer or equivalent.
• Collector Ring Design Experience: Demonstrated expertise in designing slip rings.
• Multiphysics Tools Mastery: Knowledge of signal transfer technologies (Ethernet, video).
• Reliability Analysis and Thermal Design Expertise: Familiarity with vacuum technologies.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to handle complex problems methodically.
• Flexibility and Creativity: Adaptability in addressing technical challenges.
