About the Company
ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems of up to 500 kilograms. The company provides industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems tailored for various mission profiles, including Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo.
Your Mission
Job Goals
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and support production operations.
- Ensure manufacturability of new products (DFM – Design for Manufacturability).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.
Key Tasks
- Review engineering drawings and provide feedback to optimize designs for production.
- Design and implement manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment.
- Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Provide technical support to production teams and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and work instructions.
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes and equipment.
- Prepare reports on process performance and improvement of metrics.
- Conduct feasibility studies and process simulations.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing Principles.
- Collaborate with the quality team to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
Competencies & Duties
Independently and responsibly perform tasks as outlined above while maintaining proactive communication when issues arise or help is needed. Adhere to ANAVIA’s employment contract, safety instructions, and quality manual, including compliance with corresponding process specifications and instructions. International travel may be required, encompassing up to 25% of working hours.
Your Profile
Qualifications
- Completed higher education (e.g., ETH, HTL).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Thorough knowledge of production and assembly processes along with corresponding work requirements, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Sound technical and practical understanding of complex mechanical, mechatronic, and electrical systems.
- Thorough knowledge of CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Process-oriented and structured work methods.
- Good language skills in English (oral and written).
