Your Role
As a key member of our team, you will manage the Calibration Services, overseeing resources such as staff, tooling, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure optimal service delivery while effectively managing the cost center budget.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the accredited calibration area in line with EN ISO/IEC 17025.
- Prepare an annual management evaluation based on the requirements of EN ISO/IEC 17025 for senior management review.
- Ensure that laboratories in Switzerland and the UK meet international standards, client needs, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the necessary standards, tools, and programs for calibration activities.
- Recruit, coach, train, and develop personnel to foster a high-performing team.
- Provide ergonomic workplaces, ensuring work safety and addressing environmental considerations.
- Plan and control investment and cost center budgets.
- Create a competitive, yet profitable price list for our customers.
- Report on performance and profitability for internal and external orders.
- Act as the contact person for centralized temperature and humidity measurement solutions within SR Technics units.
Your Profile
- Apprenticeship as a craftsman in electronics or mechanics.
- Experience as a general foreman in manufacturing production.
- Management experience in a workshop or laboratory environment.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the calibration business with a solid understanding of legal regulations.
- 1-3 years of leadership experience.
- Technical understanding with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Logical and analytical mindset, flexibility, and excellent organizational and communication skills to foster relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Proficiency in German (C1) and English (B2).
