The person in this pivotal role will engage in both physical and financial trading of LPG, focusing on optimizing profitability while adhering to established risk policies and guidelines.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage assigned LPG books and support the trading desk in maximizing profitability.
• Trade within compliance standards, ensuring adherence to trading mandates and risk policies.
• Identify and capitalize on LPG trading opportunities through innovative physical and financial trading strategies.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and customers to foster beneficial relationships.
• Monitor and analyze global LPG markets to refine and inform trading strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers and counterparties to enhance trading effectiveness.
• Conduct market research and create quantitative models to bolster trading decisions.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and risk policies to maintain operational integrity.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in physical LPG trading and origination.
• Comprehensive understanding of LPG infrastructure, supply contracts, and optimization models.
• Established track record in building and sustaining relationships with major NGL players.
• Capability to implement proprietary physical and hedging strategies effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to devise and execute robust trading strategies.
• An entrepreneurial mindset complemented by excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• A university degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in office software, with advanced programming skills in VBA, Python, or C# being beneficial.
