Opportunity for an Experienced LPG Trader

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned LPG books to enhance profitability.
• Trade within compliance standards, adhering to established mandates and risk policies.
• Identify and act on LPG trading opportunities through various trading methods.
• Negotiate and finalize contractual agreements with suppliers and customers.
• Monitor and analyze global LPG markets to support strategic trading initiatives.
• Develop and nurture relationships with suppliers and market counterparts.
• Conduct market research and create quantitative models to inform trading decisions.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal guidelines and risk management policies.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in physical LPG trading and origination.
• Deep understanding of LPG infrastructure, supply contracts, and optimization mechanisms.
• Demonstrated success in building robust relationships with key industry players.
• Proficiency in implementing effective physical and hedging strategies.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to devise and execute strategic trading initiatives.
• An entrepreneurial mindset complemented by excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in English, with additional languages seen as an asset.
• A university degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Competency in office applications, with advanced programming skills (VBA, Python, C#) being beneficial.
