The Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic educator to teach German to students in Kindergarten through Grade 5. The ideal candidate will possess adaptability and a genuine excitement for collaborating with our team of professional language teachers. You will be tasked with planning, delivering, and assessing a student-centered curriculum in a diverse international school setting, while maintaining high expectations for all learners.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school environment.
• For non-Swiss/EU candidates, international teaching experience is a prerequisite.
• A valid teaching license with a specialization in German language acquisition.
• A solid understanding of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
• A documented history of excellence in teaching.
• Experience teaching Kindergarten is desirable.
• A strong commitment to an inquiry-based approach that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
• A dedication to ongoing professional development.
• A focus on building positive relationships with students.
