Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic German teacher for students ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 5. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and a passion for collaboration with a team of dynamic, professional language teachers to plan, deliver, and assess a student-centered curriculum in a diverse international school environment. Holding high expectations for students, the ideal candidate will be comfortable differentiating content and instruction to cater to all learners.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience, preferably at an international school.
- For non-Swiss/EU applicants, international experience is a requirement.
- A teaching license with a specialization in German language acquisition.
- An understanding of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- A documented record of excellence in teaching.
- Experience with teaching Kindergarten is desirable.
- A strong commitment to an inquiry-based approach that promotes curiosity and critical thinking.
- A dedication to ongoing professional development.
- A focus on building relationships with students.
