Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical inspections of engine assemblies, modules, and piece parts on schedule.
- Create repair orders for assemblies and individual parts.
- Request and execute engine modifications.
- Control modifications and configurations on single parts and assemblies.
- Perform assigned work on time and ensure quality of work.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma principles, including Lean Events, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Continuously improve processes with the aim of enhancing quality and safety.
- Handle operating equipment in an environmentally conscious manner.
- Measure control of assemblies in their mounted condition.
- Ensure timely execution and self-control of performed orders.
- Document assigned activities in accordance with regulations.
- Conduct internal audits, such as 5S audits, and implement defined actions promptly.
Candidate Profile
- Completed vocational training, preferably in metal, such as polymechanics, plant and equipment engineering, machine mechanics, or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the aviation MRO industry.
- Authorization to certify engines under EASA Part 145/Part 66 is preferred.
- Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends.
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
- Open-minded and dedicated team player with effective communication skills.
- High safety, quality, and cost awareness.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with SAP.
- Knowledge of the English language (level B1); knowledge of German is an advantage.
