Lead Security Architect

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to take the reins in enhancing Security Architecture and Application Security in response to evolving cybersecurity threats for an international client.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Lead Security Architect.
• Own the overarching Security Architecture direction and drive its coordinated implementation.
• Translate security requirements into actionable architecture guidance and guardrails.
• Define and implement Security Architecture Use Cases, blueprints, and POCs.
• Align Security Architecture with Corporate Information Security requirements, Enterprise Architecture, and technology roadmaps.
• Coordinate architectural interfaces and oversee risk-based architecture reviews for major changes and essential designs.
• Monitor relevant technology and cybersecurity developments.
• Align stakeholders and facilitate decision-making processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive project experience as a Lead Security Architect.
• Proven experience with current cybersecurity threats.
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture projects.
• Long-term experience across Cloud, Application, Identity, Data, and Infrastructure Security.
• Expertise in Enterprise Architecture Security.
• Familiarity with Security Governance Architecture.
• Proven ability to design Security Architecture for large international organizations, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong stakeholder management and risk management skills.

Start Date: October/November (with potential for December)

Duration: 12 months

Workload: 5 days per week

Location: Remote with a minimum of one on-site visit per month in Germany and/or Poland

Languages: Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
