Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team, working collaboratively with product teams to shape the future of our footwear product line. This position focuses on translating innovative footwear concepts into advanced products while pioneering future technologies that will define our brand.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the creation of innovative product concepts, overseeing technology development, sample creation, and assembly.
• Lead multiple high-impact innovation projects with complete autonomy while ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Engage in complex problem-solving related to product intricacies, process optimization, and scalable manufacturing practices.
• Facilitate seamless communication among designers, innovators, model makers, and other stakeholders, ensuring scalability considerations for every project.
• Collaborate closely with teams in Sport Science, Innovation Design, Footwear Engineering, and Innovation Material Science to drive the development of innovative prototypes.
• Create and maintain the transfer manual with detailed documentation of processes and product descriptions for effective technical knowledge transfer.
• Build strong connections with development teams in Asia, ensuring effective information transfer and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Demonstrate expertise in material fabrication and assembly, utilizing various machinery and hand tools.

Your Qualifications

• Over 5 years of footwear-specific experience, with a background in footwear innovation projects.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a relevant field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in traditional footwear manufacturing processes, including cutting, sewing, welding, and prototyping.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and improve design functionality and manufacturability.
• Demonstrated knowledge in material testing and methodologies, with comfort in working with various materials and chemicals.
• Proven ability to lead manufacturing processes and introduce new technologies effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences including engineers, designers, and non-product partners.
• Capable of working independently on multiple projects under deadlines, balancing innovation and engineering solutions.
• High tolerance for ambiguity with a solution-focused attitude.
• Comfortable operating industrial machinery and availability to travel up to 15% of the time.
