Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for the examination, instruction, and adjudication of cases related to road traffic violations and navigation. This includes drafting claims and making decisions on appeals submitted to the CDAP or the TF against decisions made by the department.

• Review and determine admission to road traffic, as well as handle requests for the exchange of foreign driving licenses in complex cases.
• Examine and resolve medical files submitted to the SAN, drafting claims and ruling on appeals related to departmental decisions.
• Support management and other divisions within the Service, while maintaining and developing relationships with SAN clientele and various partners.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance legal knowledge and specific competencies related to road traffic and administrative measures.
• Maintain legal oversight in the specific domain assigned to each legal professional, including quality monitoring and control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law is required.
• Master's degree in Law is preferred.
• Knowledge of law, preferably related to road traffic regulations.
• Strong writing skills with analytical and synthesis capabilities.
• Knowledge of German is an asset.
