Your Opportunity

Join our Materials & Process (M&P) team to engage in the development of state-of-the-art launcher structures for the payloads of tomorrow. Embrace a multicultural work environment, collaborating hands-on with our experts on cutting-edge projects tailored for a diverse array of customers. You'll support the manufacturing and testing of composite parts while having the chance to lead your own projects. Your Responsibilities

  • Compose technical documentation necessary for qualifying materials and processes used in space applications.
  • Define methodologies for characterizing various material properties, including metals, composites, paints, and other materials integral to our products.
  • Oversee the manufacturing and testing of specimens, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
  • Analyze test data and provide interpretations based on theoretical frameworks acquired during your studies.
  • Innovate new manufacturing concepts and validate their feasibility and effectiveness.

Your Background

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Material Sciences or Mechanical Engineering, ideally in your 5th semester or beyond.
  • Strong German language skills (minimum B2-C1) and fluency in English for effective communication in daily business.
  • While prior experience in the aerospace industry and/or with composite materials (CFRP) is advantageous, a desire to learn is essential.
  • A critical thinker who enjoys facing challenges with a rational approach to problem-solving.
  • An excellent team player, ready to collaborate and support colleagues in achieving common goals.
