Role Overview

Reporting to the Executive Director of Organization Effectiveness and with a dotted line to the Director of Payroll, the Functional HRIS Payroll Analyst serves as a critical link between Payroll Operations and HR systems. This position is primarily centered around SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP), Vendor Payroll Processing, and associated payroll processes. The role provides support through functional analysis, testing, data validation, reporting, process improvement, and issue investigation. This position is particularly suited for seasoned payroll professionals or consultants looking to transition into a vibrant international in-house environment that directly impacts the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Systems Support: Serve as the primary expert for SAP ECP, Employee Central, and payroll operations, ensuring precise and reliable payroll delivery.
  • Requirements & Process Improvement: Develop efficient payroll processes by translating business needs into actionable solutions and clear documentation.
  • Testing & Change Management: Oversee payroll testing and change readiness to ensure system modifications align with business expectations and user adoption.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Enhance payroll data integrity through validation, reconciliation, and audit support.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Transform payroll data into insightful reporting by designing reports, dashboards, and KPI monitoring for management.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Payroll, HR, IT, and external stakeholders to drive system improvements, support significant projects, and address integration challenges.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Payroll, HRIS, or related systems, with a robust understanding of end-to-end payroll operations.
  • Demonstrated functional knowledge of SAP ECP, Employee Central, and payroll-related processes.
  • Experience with payroll testing, audits, reconciliations, and data validation, alongside business process improvement initiatives.
  • Skilled in gathering payroll business requirements and collaborating with IT and external providers for system enhancements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high data accuracy.
  • Excellent project coordination, documentation, and mapping skills to facilitate payroll implementations and enhancements.
  • Proficient communication and stakeholder management abilities, effectively working across various teams and partners.
  • Experience in multinational payroll environments is desired, with specific knowledge of processes in Switzerland, Germany, and France being advantageous.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and/or Employee Central Payroll certification.
