We seek an individual who will excel in a strategic and hands-on position, aligning our people strategies with high-performance objectives. This role is essential in supporting our technical teams, ensuring they possess the necessary talent, culture, and capabilities to thrive. Collaboration with leadership and team members based in Switzerland and the UK is vital for fostering a world-class, performance-driven workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for departmental leaders throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Translate objectives into effective people strategies and assist managers in operational implementation.
  • Drive workforce planning aligned with the race calendar and development cycles.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract top engineering and technical talent globally.
  • Work closely with Employee Experience frameworks tailored for high-pressure environments, driving learning and development initiatives for talent retention.
  • Ensure top-quality HR service through cooperation with all HR department areas.
  • Coach leaders to optimize individual and team performance under tight deadlines.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Promote a high-performance culture emphasizing collaboration, resilience, and well-being.
  • Design and implement engagement initiatives to maintain morale during extensive race seasons.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws across multiple jurisdictions, including Swiss laws.
  • Support various HR projects and initiatives, contributing to a strong HRBP team.
  • Provide assistance for work permits and international travel.
  • Utilize HR data to guide decisions on team structure and performance.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a keen understanding of motorsport and F1 dynamics.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years in a Business Partner role within the HR landscape.
  • Experience in motorsport, elite sports, automotive, or high-tech engineering a significant advantage.
  • Ability to function effectively under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with managing shift-based or travel-intensive workforces.
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss labour laws.
  • Proficiency with digital HR tools, preferably SAP, and in using data for decision-making.
  • Fluency in English and German; additional languages are an asset.
