Your Role and Development

We are seeking an ambitious individual ready to embrace responsibility from day one and prepare for a leadership role. This structured succession planning opportunity provides a clear path towards becoming the Group Controller within 1 to 2 years.

Your Milestones to Success

• Onboarding & Deep Dive: Collaborate closely with current management to understand our strategies and processes while contributing your expertise.
• Taking Ownership: Gradually oversee operational management of the team and lead independent projects.
• The Succession: After an extensive transition period of approximately 12 to 18 months, you will assume leadership of the department.

Your Profile

• A university degree or equivalent in Group Controlling.
• Relevant professional experience with a clear ambition for leadership.
• A proactive work style, adept at managing complex financial topics.

Your Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Organize, lead, and manage the Group Controlling function, overseeing periodic and year-end closings.
• System Ownership & Reporting: Manage the group’s consolidation software and report directly to the Group CFO.
• Central Liaison: Serve as the main contact for all internal and external accounting and controlling matters.
• Dynamic Support: Provide expert responses to management requests and engage in workshops for continuous improvement.
• Audit Management: Act as the central interface for all audit-related topics.
• Executive Insights: Provide monthly reports to the Board of Directors, delivering deep-dive analytics to aid decision-making.

Our Requirements

• Swiss Certified Public Accountant or equivalent, with external audit experience preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in Group Accounting/Controlling, including leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and handling major transformation programs.
• Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, particularly in PowerPoint.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Collaborative and resilient, with a strong character to uphold company values.
• Experience with OneStream and SAP is a plus.
