The Swiss Gemmological Institute SSEF is a renowned leader in the international jewellery trade, dedicated to providing specialized services for the analysis of gemstones and pearls. Educational Offerings

In addition to our analytical services, we proudly offer gemmology courses at various levels, including basic, advanced, and scientific classes, covering topics such as coloured stones, diamonds, pearls, and the history of jewellery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic development and delivery of educational course offerings.
• Revamp and refine existing programs to ensure a high-quality student journey.
• Expand the course portfolio through bespoke training and global online offerings.
• Represent the institute at trade shows, conferences, and professional events, showcasing our expertise and course offerings.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create engaging educational content for social media.

Qualifications

• Possession of diplomas in Gemmology (FGA, DGA, DUG or comparable).
• Demonstrated track record in academic leadership or education management in the field of gemmology.
• Experience in developing gemmology courses and designing bespoke and online programs tailored for diverse audiences.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with an established network within the gem and jewellery industry.
• Native English speaker with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally for talks and bespoke courses at trade shows with a variety of clients.
