About the Company

ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems weighing up to 500 kilograms. The company provides industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems tailored for various mission profiles, including Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to secure necessary operational authorizations, including engagement in the SORA process in compliance with Drone Regulation EU 2019/947.
• Initiate and coordinate operational authorization efforts alongside relevant National Aviation Authorities (NAAs).
• Develop and maintain manuals and processes essential for obtaining and preserving operational authorizations.
• Stay informed about the latest regulations concerning unmanned aerial vehicles and provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Act as the Flight Safety Manager, establishing and maintaining an effective Safety Management System.
• Develop and uphold a compliant occurrence reporting scheme in accordance with regulation EU 376/2014.
• Advise management on regulation-related matters.
• Support the enhancement and maintenance of the Quality Management System.
• Conduct internal and external audits.
• Deliver internal training on regulatory and aviation standards.

Your Profile

• Completed higher education (e.g., ETH, HTL, etc.).
• Comprehensive knowledge of Safety Management Systems in line with ICAO requirements (e.g., Doc. 9859).
• Expertise in relevant regulatory requirements for unmanned aerial vehicles (e.g., EU 2019/947).
• Solid understanding of technical and systems engineering principles with a structured, process-oriented work method.
• Proficient computer skills.
