The company offers industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems tailored for various mission profiles, including Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo.

Role Overview

As part of the operating team, you will supervise and execute UAS operations daily, gathering essential test performance information during and post-flight.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, and conduct all development flight testing requirements in accordance with specific flight profiles.
• Record ground and flight test performance data, presenting information in clear and concise reports.
• Become knowledgeable about all rotorcraft systems, including limitations and safety procedures outlined in the Flight Manual.
• Be responsible for the safe conduct of Ground and Air related rotorcraft testing.
• Assist the Remote Pilot during pre-flight, in-flight, handover, and pre-landing checklist activities.
• Monitor critical rotorcraft systems.
• Support the development team in defining test scenarios for the verification and validation flight test phase for products and prototypes.
• Engage in daily tasks such as test plan generation, real-time data monitoring during tests, directing tests, data analysis, documentation, test readiness review preparation, and on-aircraft troubleshooting.
• Collaborate closely with system, avionics, propulsion, structural, software, and flight controls engineers to enhance flight testing for the VTOL platform.

Qualifications

• University degree in Aerospace Engineering or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of flight test techniques and methods.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Competency in MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of Matlab/Simulink.
• Foundational understanding of Risk Management for operations.
• Valid driving license.
