About the Company

ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems with a capacity of up to 500 kilograms. The company provides industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems catering to various mission profiles, including Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo.

Your Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the timely execution of assembly, maintenance, and repair tasks in adherence to work instructions and quality processes. This includes documenting all sub-assembly, final-assembly, and maintenance activities related to aircraft, payloads, and other products, while also identifying root causes and corrective actions for products and systems.

Main Tasks

  • Preparation of aircraft, ground control systems (GCS), and data transmission systems.
  • Conducting both scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance work at the Swiss headquarters and globally.
  • Performing non-scheduled aircraft repairs, including subsystem removal, installation, replacement, and subsequent testing.
  • Ensuring all pre- and post-flight maintenance tasks are completed, recorded, and signed off.
  • Maintaining Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in serviceable condition to support daily flight operations.
  • Preparing transportation of aircraft, payloads, and other equipment, ensuring compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations.
  • Assisting in the testing and validation of new systems, software, and hardware as part of the flight testing process.
  • Supporting the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during operations and flight testing.
  • Participating in the maintenance of UAS ground support equipment and other necessary tools for operations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree in Aviation Maintenance, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience in aviation maintenance, UAS operations, or a similar technical role, with UAS flight technician experience highly desirable.
  • Skills: Familiarity with flight control systems, avionics, and ground support equipment, along with basic knowledge of flight operations and procedures.
  • Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (oral and written); additional languages are a plus.
  • Other: Valid driver’s license and willingness to undergo flight safety and operational training as required.
