Your Responsibilities

You will be tasked with developing, optimizing, and publishing monthly flight crew rosters. This includes the following:

  • Building, optimizing, and publishing the monthly roster for flight crews, instructors, and trainees, focusing on crew satisfaction, productivity, and operational stability.
  • Developing and assessing monthly roster scenarios while aligning with capacity planning, crew control, and key interfaces.
  • Monitoring short-term crew capacity trends, assessing potential risks, and taking proactive actions to ensure operational stability.
  • Assessing and implementing roster and absence change requests that impact the ongoing planning month.
  • Providing expert knowledge on roster planning processes and system functionalities to support cross-functional value streams.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, aviation management, or an equivalent field.
  • An operational mindset with the capability to assess and make decisions on complex planning scenarios.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Experience in workforce planning, scheduling, or strategic resource management, with familiarity in crew rostering systems and planning tools being advantageous.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
