About the Company
ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems, capable of handling up to 500 kilograms. The company delivers industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems tailored for various mission profiles, including Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo operations.
Your Main Tasks
- Flight Control Software: Design, implement, and test model-based software that enables new flight functionalities.
- Simulation: Test newly implemented features within a comprehensive simulation framework.
- Documentation: Assist in the development of documentation and training materials that detail the flight control logic.
- Autonomy: Design safe, reliable, and autonomous flight sequences that align with customer requirements and adhere to the latest safety regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, including design, flight operations, and avionics engineers, to deliver new features and enhancements that realize customer visions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in safety regulations and sensor technologies, integrating best practices into workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Significant experience with model-based programming, ideally within the aviation or space industry; familiarity with associated standards and best practices; experience programming in C or similar languages is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of model-based programming (Simulink or similar); a solid understanding of flight dynamics; ability to design comprehensive test programs, from unit to system level.
- Communication: Excellent technical communication skills.
